1. The marketplace
ErrandsNeighbor, a Denari Group LLC company, provides technology that helps Customers request local errands and eligible independent Neighbors choose whether to perform them. ErrandsNeighbor is not the employer, agent, household employee, or general contractor of either party and does not direct how a Neighbor performs an accepted errand, except for marketplace safety rules.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information, protect your account, and be legally able to enter a contract. A person may use one account as both a Customer and a Neighbor, but may not accept their own errand. Neighbor access may require identity verification, screening, payment onboarding, and other launch eligibility checks.
3. Customer responsibilities
- Describe the errand, locations, timing, risks, and requested outcome accurately.
- Do not request illegal, dangerous, regulated, medical, or prohibited work.
- Secure pets, disclose hazards, and provide safe access.
- Review completion promptly and report a genuine issue with supporting detail.
4. Neighbor responsibilities
- Accept only errands you can perform safely, lawfully, and competently.
- Follow the agreed instructions without purchasing substitutes or changing scope without Customer approval.
- Protect private addresses, access information, and property.
- Stop work and contact emergency services when immediate safety is at risk.
5. Payments and cancellations
Customers authorize payment before dispatch. Payment may be captured after confirmed completion or after the stated review window, unless a timely issue pauses finalization. Cancellation eligibility and any applicable amount are shown before cancellation. Neighbor payouts depend on completed payment processing and platform review.
6. Property, injury, vehicles, and insurance
Nothing on the site should be interpreted as insurance coverage. Any future protection program will have separate eligibility rules, limits, exclusions, evidence requirements, and claim deadlines.
7. Problems and disputes
Use the in-task “Report an Issue” flow as soon as a problem is discovered. ErrandsNeighbor may pause payment finalization, review task records and submitted evidence, and request responses from both parties. See the Dispute Process. The platform may issue a payment adjustment or other remedy when supported by the payment rules, but no particular outcome is guaranteed.
8. Prohibited conduct
No fraud, harassment, discrimination, off-platform payment circumvention, account sharing, unsafe driving, weapons, controlled substances, medical care, child or dependent-person supervision, hazardous materials, or unlawful activity.
9. SMS and electronic communications
Transactional SMS is optional and requires express consent and phone verification. Messages cover account status, Neighbor applications and onboarding, payout setup, errand progress and completion, cancellations, and support or safety updates. Verification codes are sent when requested. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Essential notices may still be delivered in the app or by email.
10. Suspension and changes
ErrandsNeighbor may restrict an account or errand to protect users, investigate suspected misuse, comply with law, or maintain platform integrity. Material term changes will be identified by a new version and require renewed acceptance where appropriate.
